Blessed Thanksgiving Day

New Ministry under attackWhen I woke up this morning, I found that all the banner, topsites, ministry servers had been taken down, and my account (which did not expire until March) had been suspended sue to “excessive database activities.” I could reach a person on the phone (closed for the holiday) and the response to the ticket I opened requesting the account be reinstated, and work with me to remedy the situation received a response of “we are unable to restore your account, take your business elsewhere.” I have spent a better part of the day trying to figure out what should go where (the hosted church websites (with one exception) were unaffected (I am using multiple vendors with multiple servers). In short, we must be doing something right as the devil is throwing a lot of things our way. I appreciate those of you that are supporting us and praying for us.1Th 5:18       In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.I pray you all had a blessed Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving

We have a lot to be thankful for!Lavon Drive Baptist Church had their Thanksgiving service last night. We had a service where everyone had an opportunity to stand up and share what they had to be thankful for. The service was a blessing. Pastor Coleman also announced that the special offering for last night (LDBC takes up a special offering during the midweek services) would go to support our ministry. God is good, and I am thankful for Lavon Drive Baptist Church. This time of year is when we have the largest number of domains coming up for renewal and the offering will certainly come in handy to support the ministry! Two more domains were rescued over the last few days…..I pray you all have a Blessed Thanksgiving day!Bob Source: Cyber-Missions...

Pleasant Valley baptist Church

Pastor Paul TaylorYesterday (Sunday 11/23/08) Maureen and I had the pleasure of visiting Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. Pleasant Valley is one of the first churches we built a web page for back in 2005/2006. The church is a fantastic little country church located south of I20 in Dallas Texas. The people were friendly, the morning service was uplifting. The person from the church that was maintaining their web page has moved on, so I agreed to work with the church to get (and keep) the web page up to date.  If you are looking for a good church in South Dallas I would strongly recommend this church as a good church home. Friday 11/28/08

Yesterday I returned a “rescued domain” to a church that requested it. We do not charge for anything we do. The pastor said they will send us an offering, that he appreciated us keeping the domain from open distribution., and holding it for them.Old Satan has been fighting again today, with the help of Verizon I think…. I “rescued” another domain last night for a church in Texas. Some had grabbed it and put up an advertising site. They can hold the domain (sort of to try it out) for 5 days, if it takes a lot of hits, they can register it and keep it. This domain was released after 5 days. I have the restored website ready to put up, but Verizon cannot find the host in it's look up (DNS name server). The advertising stayed up last night for a god three hours after it was rescued, and now, some 20 hours later, the name server still has not propigated into Verizon's name server, so I can't do anything but wait.  Also – Verizon seems to drop out other names, I am waiting to update another web page, which also seems to have dropped out from their nameservers. In short, a lot of time is wasted today.(At least I think so) given the other time wasters, I have had some time and redid the Banner on...
