Source of Light Bible Correspondence Course – Gospel of John

I spoke with the Source of Light people several months ago about getting their correspondence courses online. They have been working on it for several years now, but do not have a date on when it would be ready. I scanned in their course on the Gospel of John, and was waiting to hear back from them. I haven't. I will add the salvation portion of the course, bring the course online, and let them know it is up. Some of the scans were not as good as they could be. Once the course is online, I will work on changing over the files from GIF picture files to text based pages. Having this course online should save us postage on over 200 courses per year (many international) and will enable the overseas students to save money sending back the lessons! Marion Baptist Church Anniversary – Website Update

I updated the website for Marion Baptist Church in Marion Texas. Their 31rst anniversary is coming up in April, and they wanted to add a note about it on their web page. A rescued domain is coming up for renewal. It appears the church is gone. If anyone has any information about New Testament Baptist Church in King North Carolina, it would be greatly appreciated. Email me. The domain is not a church domain name, and I will renew it anyway, and make it available to any Fundamental Independent Baptist Ministry that might want it: www.laborersforjesus.com. If you would like to use the domain, send me an...

Detour!!! – Please send traffic our way!

When I woke up this morning, I found an email from Pastor Brian Smith of Calvary Baptist Church in Plainview Texas indicating the church now had an Official Website (http://www.cbcplainview.com) and asking me to redirect any traffic to the official website. He also thanked us for our service. This morning if I do a search for '”Calvary Baptist Church” Plainview Texas' our unofficial website comes up as the top listing on Google and second on Yahoo (behind a Yellowpages listing).Part of what our ministry does is give an instant high listing on the search engines to a new church website.I did not see their new website in the search engine at all on Google. I have posted a referral to the new website on our unofficial website. This will help get their new website listed in the search engines quickly. I updated the listing in the Indpendent Baptist Web Portal at http://www.baptist-ministries.org to point to their new site and the reference to their new website in this article will also help get their new website listed and searchable relatively quickly. Another rescue….

I received an email yesterday from a church in Wyoming. We had rescued their domain a while back. I found some good historical copies and rebuilt their website with several pages of information. Yesterday I received an email from the church indicating that they had registered a new domain, put up a new website and either wanted the old domain pointed to the new, or simply take the web page down. Since it is a very good generic domain I will keep it. I put up a note on the web page indicating where their new website can be found. I sent a note back explaining I did this and letting them know I would be reassigning the domain to a new church in the future. Source: Cyber-Missions...
